With over a century of expertise in mountain equipment, the Millet brand is now rethinking its raison d’être: to provide reliable, durable and adaptable equipment to face the uncertainty of a changing environment. With its close ties to the history of mountaineering, from Lachenal to Dubouloz, the Annécian brand is more than ever emphasizing its attachment to the mountains and the unknown. This is the purpose of its manifesto, illustrated by the Trilogy and Kamet collections, the jewels in the crown of its mountaineering range.
Proven and certified in Chamonix, Millet was born in Annecy, in the heart of the French Alps. Since 1921, the mountains have been its privileged laboratory for testing and learning, and the experience of its community a true source of innovation for its development teams.
In 2024, Millet sets a new course for the next 100 years: a new signature, a commitment to the mountains, a tribute to Chamonix and a new collection of reliable, durable and adaptable products, so that everyone can live their mountain dreams to the full.
A new logo
Conceived to incorporate a streamlined design, reaffirming the singularity of the Millet brand, this new logo pays tribute to its heritage. The new visual identity was developed in collaboration with the Parisian agency SAINT-LAZARE. Go behind the scene >
For a changing mountain
Passionate and committed, Millet evolves with the mountains, limiting its impact and protecting biodiversity.
In 2024, the brand acquired life-cycle analysis software to measure the environmental impact of 100% of its products. This provides the basis for continuing the journey towards the global NETZERO.
Coupled with this, the company continues to make a concrete and optimistic commitment to the Ice & Life association, working to protect the flora and fauna resulting from melting glaciers.
Many mountaineers, a playground
Millet has always accompanied those who write the history of mountaineering. Millet supports its athletes’ projects and reaffirms its attachment to Chamonix, the land of their greatest achievements and of world mountaineering. An emblematic place in which Millet enjoys an ecosystem of passionate and committed partners, such as the prestigious Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix and the Groupe Militaire de Haute Montagne. These partners are driven by the roped party spirit so well known to mountaineers, and inspire the brand every day in its quest for the unknown.
Iconic products
Drawing on its long-standing expertise and the experience of the alpine community, Millet has chosen to revive its iconic products, such as the TRILOGY V ICON and KAMET. Redesigned in line with the new visual identity, these two products remain timeless, reliable and long-lasting, to accompany each and every one of us serenely to the finest summits.
