His hair has turned gray, but his legendary strength and talent have not. The British Steve Mc Clure came to the end of the Voyage, in Annot, considered as one of the hardest trad routes in France. Opened by James Pearson, his compatriot established in the south of France, the Voyage is rated E10, on the British scale. This means an F8b+ with some tricky nuts placements…

Recently, the Voyage was also climbed by Seb Berthe: a great performance as he did the Voyage flash, “one of his greatest climbing experiences”. However, the ascent of the Voyage for Steve McClure, 52 years old, is also a great performance! Congrats Steve.
