These are special places, almost out of time: beyond the Arctic Circle, in the region of Narvik, Norway, the fjords seem asleep by the frost, the villages not so numerous. At the bend in the white ribbon of the road, waterfalls sometimes several hundred meters high rise up. Arctic Ice, it is an atmosphere that we told here, a journey in these fjords and lost valleys as Bardu, where nest these waterfalls still little known. Organizer of the Arctic Ice Festival, climber Matthias Scherer has made Arctic ice his specialty.
