On the 14th of March, 2024, mountaineers Fay Manners and Tom Lafaille linked the Grassi, Bonatti and Domenech couloirs on the Italian side of the Mont-Blanc massif. A 44km trek with 4000 metres of ascent to take advantage of the great conditions for steep skiing, but also to train for a bigger project. “My dream was to have first tracks on all three couloirs, and we did”, says Fay Manners.
