ODLO, a Swiss brand of technical sportswear, has teamed up with the Protect Our Winters Switzerland (POW) association in a highly symbolic Blackcomb collection.
It could just be POW branding, but ODLO is working hard to reduce the environmental impact of its products. The POW logo is discreetly integrated into the garment label and inner seam.
Alongside the ODLO ReWEAR circular economy program, ODLO has set ambitious eco-responsible targets as part of its “We can do more” initiative, such as the use of 100% renewable energy sources by 2030. Its greenhouse gas reduction targets will be announced in 2024.
Collaboration with the Swiss NGO dates back to 2021, notably with the “Vote like you” program. But this is the first time that ODLO and POW have designed a product together, with a design inspired by the accelerated melting of glaciers. The presence of this logo on the ODLO x POW Blackcomb collection reinforces the partnership.
The ODLO Blackcomb collection is a set of technical undergarments designed to limit ecological impact. Over 70% of the fabric is recycled polyester. It’s not noticeable, of course, and the material is as soft as any other polyester.
The top is available in 3 variations: round collar, 1/4 zip or high collar with hood. The bottoms are available in long or 3/4 sizes and in three colors (black/orange, blue and black/gray).

This underwear is seamless and very snug thanks to body mapping. It’s a very pleasant second skin that’s easy to forget under a ski or even mountaineering outfit. There’s no feeling of compression or constriction, and real freedom of movement.
