“We’re off to the west face of the Noire to see if we can open a route,” sums up Emrik Favre as he sets off, accompanied by François Cazzanelli and Stefano “Teto” Stradelli, on ski touring, for a new adventure. On the 12th and 13th of February, 2023, they inaugurated the Couloir Isaïe (M8, 7a/7a+, 600m), a new route on the west face of the Aiguille Noire du Peuterey in the Mont-Blanc massif. A simple 37-minute documentary, with beautiful images and a premiere worthy of the name. Between black and white, light and dark, difficult and beautiful.
