The multiple world champion ice climber, who stopped competing in 2006, still climbs and does so with her family. When she is not out with her son Emanuel, whom she started taking to world cup competitions when he was just one year old, she climbs with her husband, the Slovenian Luka Lindić.

In the spring of 2021, Papert opened a new mixed route with him (Heart of Stone, 1,000 m, M7) on the west face of Mount Huntington, not far from Denali in Alaska. Papert excels everywhere, on mixed, rock and ice. Thanks to her experience, she is regularly asked to sit on the jury for the Piolets d’Or.
