Watch The Draconians, a beautiful ski film

This is a beautiful film, and more. The Draconians combines the talent of skiers – Sam Favret and Nikolai Schirmer – and cameramen, including Hensli Sage, who uses a drone to transport us closer to the action, and above all to a new dimension, that of following the skier(s) both close enough to believe they’re there, and far enough away to measure the commitment, the slope, the atmosphere. And the atmosphere is just that, the atmosphere of Norway’s fjords and mountains, always, and here again, superb. The film sounds like an invitation to the alpine skiing season that’s just begun.
